SimplyFix 3.0 Beta
---------------------

***********************************
READING OF ALL THE TIPS AND OF THIS
README IS STRONGLY RECCOMENDED
***********************************

What you need:
--------------
Starting with this release of SimplyFix, you don't
need neither SVDisk nor the kicker disks by IBM!
However, you need at least 30MB free disk space
and REXX support installed and working on your
system.

History:
--------

* Release 3.0 Beta
  - many enhancements added
  - SVDisk no more needed!
  - kicker disks no more needed!
  - New Backout function implemented.
  - uncompression progress bar added.
  - if there are other files in the directory containing
    the image files of the fixpack (*.dsk), e.g.: readme,
    SimplyFix loads _ONLY_ the *.dsk files, recognizing
    the others as 'non image files', regardless of their
    extension.

* 17-Jan-1998
  - 'drive not ready' problem corrected (at least, I hope so ;) )

* Release 2.0 GA
  - released 20-Dec-1997

* Release 2.0 BETA II
  - written in Sibyl (PASCAL language)
  - enhanced autodetect of the drive letter used by SVDisk

* Release 1
  - written in VisPRO/REXX
  - Automatic start of the program 'Service.exe' by IBM
  - 'busy' LED
  - correction of some bugs

Tested system:
--------------
Pentium 133  -  Warp 4 USA  -  64Mb RAM  -  Matrox Mistyque.
I think the program may work also on Warp and above.
