Description of the Modification
===============================

Quad Hunt is a dead-simple, yet fun multiplayer mod for Quake1. As you start a game,
you'll see that all items have been replaced by red quads. The aim of the game is to
grab all of these quads before your opponents. When you kill someone, he/she loses all
of his/her quads in the form of a white quad which you can grab. Furthermore, you can also
use a bit of strategy and spice up the game by hidding quads or setting up fake, exploding
quads. While you have the right to hide as many quads as you want, you only have the
right to set up 3 bomb-quads within a game.
The frag counter gives you the number of quads you still have to catch before winning the
game. (The winner of a game is thus the one whose frag number equals zero !)

Keys : H - Hide a quad
       B - Set up a bomb quad

Tips : You should avoid playing this mod on maps that contain lava, because, if a quad
       falls in lava (for example if a player falls in it), you won't be able to finish
       the game. I'll work on that issue for the next version of the mod. I'm thinking
       about making them float on liquids, for example.
       Even if a two-player game is fun, I think that a 3-4-player game could be even
       more fun. Test it and tell me what you think ... :-)

Note
====

As you can see, this is the first version of the mod. I don't really intend to go much
further than that, except if I find a good way to improve it. I believe that
simple mods are often the funniest to play with, so I'm satisfied with it as it is.

If you have comments about the mod, suggestions about how to make it better (but not
more complicated :-)), feel free to e-mail me at coco.t@caramail.com
