title01: The Siren Agency

//VAL
intro01: This is it. The big one. If I had palms they'd be moist. A Siren Station has been invaded by a pact of aggressive administrators. You must claim the Station for the Sirens and get rid of the three opponents. They've formed an alliance, so it could be tough.

//VAL
intro02: As normal, the basic facilities have been provided by the Siren Agency. You'll need to act quickly, as the aggressors won't be slow about their own expansion plans. This may seem a pleasurable exercise, Administrator, but believe me - there's a lot riding on it. And no. That isn't a joke.

//VAL
objective01: It's time to unpack the crates and build basic facilities. Time is energy, as they say. And although the Sirens seem incapable of anything but giving pleasure, you should be aware that there are in business, just like everyone else.

//VAL
intro03: Your task is be the last remaining Administrator on the Station. You should use all methods available to see off your opponents. It won't be an easy task, but you must achieve it if you are to have any credibility in this star sector. And don't get waylaid by the Sirens. Many beings have, and they've all suffered. Although that's not strictly true. Many loved it.

//VAL
objective02: Beat all the other Station Administrators and claim the Station for the Sirens. It seems like a clear-cut proposal. Sorry. Perhaps I shouldn't use the word 'proposal' in relation to the Sirens.

//VAL
dead01: You have caused another Administrator to fail. Excellent work. But there are still two others who will redouble their efforts now they've seen what will happen to them should they fail.

//VAL
dead02: Another opponent has given up and left. That leaves one more to defeat. But don't think this last one will be quite as easy. The trouble with the Sirens is that everything comes at a price.

//VAL
claimall01: You are the only Administrator left. The last opponent just took the quick route to the exit. So with all your opponents gone, you should have no trouble in claiming the entire Station for yourself.

//VAL
sickbay01: It occurs that you frail beings do need a Sick Bay. There are many individuals who could benefit from such a facility. Consider installing one. It will be worth your while if you do.

//VAL
losesegment01: You have lost territory. This is not good news. You must try harder and see if you can reclaim it before the Sirens get too upset with you.

//VAL
losesegment02: Losing territory like you just have is not impressive to the hard-to-impress Sirens. Do something about it as soon as you are able.

//VAL
losesegment03: You have just lost territory. Do I really need to remind you that this is not part of the task you were set? No? Well act now and prevent this mistake from becoming a disaster.

//VAL
losesegment04: Territory has be claimed from you. I have to say that this is shameful. I had high hopes for you on this Station. Try harder.

//VAL
losesegment05: I have to inform you that you have just lost some territory. This will make your job that much harder, unless you can reverse this misfortune quickly. Is this clear enough for you?

//VAL
winsegment01: The news is good! You've just claimed some territory. But don't celebrate too soon - there's more to do.

//VAL
winsegment02: Excellent. You have taken some important territory. But make sure a counterstrike by your foe doesn't relieve you of it in the near future.

//VAL
winsegment03: Good. Taking territory like that is the correct way to proceed. Just make certain that you don't overstretch yourself. Consolidate and move on, Administrator.

//VAL
winsegment04: You've taken some territory. Brief congratulations are clearly in order. Now be careful. The danger has not yet passed.

//VAL
win01: Administrator, my very circuits are humming with delight. You have succeeded. The level, and the Station, and outside, the galaxy is yours. Of course, I never doubted you for a second. It might have sounded like it a few times, but that is what you beings call negative encouragement. With your permission I shall open some yellow fizzy water and we shall toast your ultimate success. The universe is your Groulien oyster. And there are many Stations you may administer if you choose. But now that choice is yours alone. Congratulations!

//VAL
lose01: Administrator, this was the final hurdle. This was to be the best moment of your life and my existence. But you failed. You let yourself down and worse - much worse, you let me down. I shall never forgive you for this. Goodbye. I shall commit myself to be melted down for scrap. How could you come so far and mess it all up? Don't tell me - it's because you're an organic, and I know how prone to illogical failure they are. Now please. I need to be alone with my cooling fans.

//ARONA
arona01: Hi there. Yep, it's Arona. And I've got the best the galaxy can offer. And at prices you won't believe. Care to take a peek?

//ARONA
arona02: Hey, got time to say hi to your old pal Arona? And if you got time for that, you'll have time to look at some of the gear I've got for you. Best stuff, lowest prices. I swear on all six of my grandmothers' graves.

//ARONA
arona03: Woo-hoo, it's Arona here. You've landed a cushy one, haven't you? All these Sirens around? A guy could go nuts just looking at them. Anyway, if you can tear yourself away for long enough feast your eyes on what I got for you.

//ARONA
arona04: So this is where you've been hiding yourself! But you know your old pal Arona would find you. That's because I got some stuff like you wouldn't believe. Well, actually you would. But the prices are too good to be true, though.

//ARONA
arona05: Excuse me. Yes you there. Ha! Fooled ya. It's Arona, not some faceless Station-to-Station salesman. And I've got some exciting offers you'd be a fool, a mad, crazy fool to ignore. Have yourself a good look.

//ARONA
arona06: Hey, can you spare two seconds for your old pal here? Just a couple. I got some stuff I want you to have. I could offer this anywhere but you know, you and me, well, we go way back. I'd like to think we're friends, not just business acquaintances. And haven't I always given you the best deals? Eh?

//ARONA
arona07: Yeah, it's Arona again. Here to bring some stellar radiation into your life. Relax, pal, I'm talking about sunshine. Now, when you see my stuff and my prices, I dare you to walk away. Go on, take a look. The stuff speaks for itself. Unless I take the batteries out. Ha!

//ARONA
hints01: The struggle ahead will be hard. You will need to use all your damp organic-brained skills to outwit these three opponents. They are the best the galaxy can offer. And they will stop at nothing to see you ejected from this Station. Be prepared for any tactics they throw at you. This is the greatest test you will face, Administrator. I wish you every morsel of luck. Except I don't believe in luck. When you win, you will do so by skill and ability alone. Now go and conquer! I'm off for an oil break.
