Add / Edit Member Tab
This screen is used for the addition and editing of members. The important thing to remember on this tab is the fact that all of the times that you will be entering / editing will be in the member's time zone.
Screen Field Descriptions:
Player Name - This field will contain the member's online player name.
Clan/Division - This is a drop down selection box. You can either choose from the list once the control is activated, or type in the control and ClanWatch will move you to the part of the list (my version of MS Intelli-Sense).
Active Checkbox - If checked, the member is active, otherwise, they are considered inactive.
Actual First Name - Member's first name (not required).
Last - Member's actual last name (not required).
Time Zone - This dropdown will allow you to choose the Time Zone that the member is in. If there is not one that matches where your member is, then you can simply add one. See
Default Email - The member's primary email account.
Secondary Email - The member's alternate email account.
Other Contact Info - May contain ICQ numbers, AOL Instant Messenger names, etc.
Notes - Miscellaneous member notes.
Playing Schedules - This area will contain all of the member's available times for play. If you select a day, then at least the first set of time slots need to be filled out. The fields for times are pretty forgiving for the format (11:00 PM, 1100, 23:00, 11 pm, etc.). Remember, that times filled in here are entered in as if you were in that member's time zone. Again, you don't have to do any calculations, just enter in the times like the member sends then to you and ClanWatch will handle the rest.
Control Descriptions:
Cancel Button - This button will cancel the current screen (whether adding or deleting members) and go back to the main panel.
Clear Fields Button - This button will clear all of the fields and put you in Add mode.
Save Button - This button will save your current work on the member.
