1.	Install RAV AntiVirus v8 for Postfix
= 	====================================
	The product contains the following packages:
	ravcore-8.*-*.i386.rpm		-- RAV scanning engine
	ravmd-8.*-*.i386.rpm -- RAV mail scanning daemon
	ravpostfix-8.*-*.i386.rpm	-- RAV smtp server used by postfix

	You can use our Install.sh script in order to install them or use the
	following comands to install them manually (you must be root):

	rpm -ivh --force ravcore-*
	or
	rpm -Uvh --force ravcore-*
	in order to install or upgrade ravcore.

	rpm -ivh --force ravmd-*
	or
	rpm -Uvh --force ravmd-*
	in order to install or upgrade ravmd.

	rpm -ivh --force ravpostfix-*
	or
	rpm -Uvh --force ravpostfix-*
	in order to install or upgrade ravpostfix.

	The argument "--force" will solve the conflicts with any RAV
	AntiVirus v8 installed packages.
	If something goes wrong, please look at README file to figure out
	what rpm should have done.

2.	Start the RAV daemons (ravmd and ravpostfix)
=	============================================

	The installation process will try to add automatically in the
	file /etc/opt/rav/domains two values for the 'domain'
	parameter (the hostname and the domainname for the local machine).
	Please verify if the values are correctly specified. If the
	domain values are successfully added then the ravmd daemon
	will be started when the installation has been finished.

	You can manually start the daemon using:
	/etc/init.d/ravmail start
	or
	/opt/rav/bin/ravmd

	By default, ravmd will use RAV logging system. The log files
	are located in the /var/opt/rav/log/ directory.
	If '--syslog' is used in the ravmd command line parameters,
	ravmd will use syslogd daemon for logging. Please check mail info
	log file to see ravmd's output.

	IMPORTANT: For RAV, a 'domain' is the string which follows the '@'
        symbol in an e-mail address.

	The daemon ravpostfix will be started by rpm. Section 6 from README
	file contains more information about starting/stopping the daemons.

3.	Modify postfix configuration
=	============================
	You must configure Postfix system to allow content filtering as
	described in FILTER_README file from the Postfix distribution.

	This should be done by the rpm install script. If the RAV
	configuration cannot be added in the postfix configuration files,
	you have to modify those files manually:

	Add next line in /etc/postfix/main.cf:
	content_filter = smtp:[127.0.0.1]:10025

	Add next two lines in /etc/postfix/master.cf:
	127.0.0.1:10026		inet n - n - 100 smtpd
		-o content_filter= -o myhostname=dummy.domain.name

	DO NOT use your FQDN instead of 'dummy.domain.name' because in some
	configurations postfix will bounce the mail with this error:
	status=bounced (mail for 127.0.0.1:10025 loops back to myself).

	If, after you have installed RAV, postfix is complaining about a
	relaying issue (Relay access denied) then you have to configure it
	to accept localhost as a relay. Just add this entry in the main.cf file:
	mynetworks = other_networks, 127.0.0.0/8

	For more information please read "Advanced content filtering" section
	from FILTER_README.

4.	Restart postfix system
=	======================

	The rpm postinstall script should reload the postfix when the
	installation is finished. If this did not happen, please execute
	manually:

	postfix reload
