PCSAT V4.1 Shareware - Readme File

PROGRAM INSTALLATION:
---------------------

After downloading and uncompressing the pcsat41s.zip file, run the install.exe file from Windows.

At installation time the Windows sub-dir RLZRUN20 is created to where the Runtime files RLZRUN20.RTS and CABLE.DLL are copied. These files may not be moved for PCSAT to work.

After program installation be sure to read the First Steps topic on the Help File.

You can switch off the animation at program startup by following these steps;

	2 - In the command line add the "/a" switch to turn of animation: pcsat41s.exe /a

In Windows 95 do;

	3 - Start Menu/Advanced
	4 - Click on the PCSAT folder
	5 - Click the name of the program
	6 - Select File/Properties

VERY IMPORTANT:
---------------

1) Decimal places must be separeted by "." and not a ",".
    Example:
	40.5  is correct.
	40,5  is wrong.

In Windows 3.x do;
	1 - Control Panel
	2 - International
	3 - Number Format ( 1,234.22)

In Windows 95 do;
	1 - My computer
	2 - Control Panel
	3 - Regional Definitions
	4 - Number (Decimal separator: ".")

3) For best results, dot-matrix printers should be used with at least 120x144 dpi resolution. Laser or InkJet printers work best with 300x300 dpi resolution. Higher resolutions can make caracters to small for easy reading.

4) Some graphic files (footprints and others) need 256 colours for proper display. Make sure your graphics card is set for 256 colours or higher.

IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THESE RECOMENDATIONS, SOME PROGRAM FUCTIONS MAY GIVE UNEXPECTED RESULTS.
