ROT-13

ROT-13 is a simple file name scrambler. ROT-13 is a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) that is placed in your right click menu for all files. Basically what this will do, is rename any file using a 13 character ROTation cipher. Therefore the 1st letter will become the 14th letter and the 26th letter will become the 13th letter in the alphabet. This is extremely useful for times when applications are associated with file types that you do not want to be readily available. (Example: .PGP files will automatically open the password dialog box, thus arousing suspicion)

Features:

Renames files using a simple 13 character ROTation cipher.
Ability for user to CUSTOMIZE the right click caption for ROT13.

Installation:

You have to extract/copy the ROT13.DLL file to your C:\Windows\System directory (or C:\Winnt\System32 for Windows NT). Then from a command prompt in your System (or System32) directory you have to run the command "REGSVR32 ROT13.DLL". This will register the file. (If you do NOT have this file you can download it from Microsoft at http://support.microsoft.com/download/support/mslfiles/REGSV32A.EXE)

To change the caption all you have to do is modify the ROT13.REG file included with this archive. With any text editor change the caption value from "ROTation13" to be "What_Ever_You_Want". Save the changes. Then you must double click the ROT13.REG file to merge this information into the registry. This can be changed at any time by following this process again.
