                         Welcome to the ANSIPACK!


 Introduction

  ANSIPACK is a powerful tool which allows you to create and view
  ANSI files in textmode 80x25.


 Requirements

   DOS 3.0 or higher
   286/16 MHz
   EGA/VGA or compatible video card
   0.1MB disk space
   1MB ram


 Details - ANSIGRAB

  Very small resident grabber for textmode 80x25 with many useful
  function and buffered output.


  Command-line parameters:

   /ZERO         Change file count back to zero.

   /KF[1..9]     Capture screen when specified key sequence pressed.
                 Keystroke sequence can be any combination of: CTRL+ALT+F1..F9

   /DIR[path]    Specify directory where screens are to be saved.

   /ANSI /ASCII or /COM   File formats available for saving.


  Default settings are:

   ANSIGRAB /ANSI /DIRcurrent_dir /KF1',0dh,0ah

  Example:

   ANSIGRAB /ASCII /DIRd:\grab /KF2


  Configuration change (if ANSIGRAB is installed):

   Run ANSIGRAB with new options.


  Unload/Remove ANSIGRAB from memory (if possible):

   Run ANSIGRAB without parameters.


 Details - ANSIVIEW

  Command-line viewer for ANSI files.
  ANSIVIEW also convert ANSI to Windows BMP files.


  Command-line parameters:

   filename      Specify file to be viewed.

   /S[0..65535]  Specify display speed factor (0=fast; 65535=slow).

   /P            Pause after every page.

   /NOCLS        Screen will be not cleared.


  Example:

   ANSIVIEW  filename /S1 /P /NOCLS


  Controls:

   -             decrease speed

   +             increase speed

   Enter         menu


 Details - BMP2ANSI

  Windows BMP to ANSI files converter.
  BMP2ANSI use new technology with very good results.


  Command-line parameters:

   filename      Specify file to be converted.
                 Mus be monochrome or 16 colors Windows bitmap.


  Controls:

   cursor keys            use for movement

   Q,W,E,A,D,Z,X,C keys   use for enhanced movement

   Enter                  menu


  Supported bitmaps:

   monochrome Windows bitmaps
   16 colors Windows bitmaps
   Bitmap width x Bitmap height must be smaller as 65535.


  Palette transformation:

   16 colors bitmap palette will be converted in standard EGA palette.
   This means:
    color 0      RGB   000 000 000
    color 1      RGB   000 000 170
    color 2      RGB   000 170 000
    color 3      RGB   000 170 170
    color 4      RGB   170 000 000
    color 5      RGB   170 000 170
    color 6      RGB   170 085 000
    color 7      RGB   170 170 170
    color 8      RGB   085 085 085
    color 9      RGB   085 085 255
    color 10     RGB   085 255 085
    color 11     RGB   085 255 255
    color 12     RGB   255 085 085
    color 13     RGB   255 085 255
    color 14     RGB   255 255 085
    color 15     RGB   255 255 255
