This program is intended for users with problems of space on PC hard disk or users that simply
want to track changes made to the system by setup programs.
If you perform the installation of a program, you won't know if the setup will copy some files
( i.e. DLL, VBX ) to your Windows (Tm) or Windows\system directory.
The amount of space required by Windows directories will enlarge, and if a specific uninstall
program is not provided, you won't know what files could be safely deleted from Windows in
order to clean some space on your hard disk.
Running Look@win 2.0 ,after i.e. a program installation setup, will compare the actual status
of Windows system with the recorded previous one, detecting changes.

The program has been tested and works under DOS, Windows 3.x or Windows 95\98 operating system.

WSYS_LOG.TXT, W_INILOG.TXT, S_INILOG.TXT, REG_LOG.TXT will be updated and results will be
displayed on screen; you will be able to read files and their reports using a text editor.

RUNNING Look@Win 2.0 AFTER EVERY PROGRAM INSTALLATION SETUP WILL KEEP TRACK OF CHANGES.

**** NO CHANGES WILL BE DONE TO YOUR SYSTEM ****

Inizialization files and registry file control provides a sort of anti-virus function,too:
if any difference will be detected, the new lines in .ini files or windows registry will be
displayed, thus alerting for changes made by viral programs in order perform malicious actions
( to load at windows startup, as i.e. Back Orifice does ).
Moreover detection of size changes of executable files in windows directories adds possibilities
of early discovering a viral attack to your system.

This is an example of report file WIN_LOG.TXT:

************ Windows report - 01-04-2000 - 00:32:46
new file or change ===>REGDATA <DIR>
new file or change ===>REG16X2 DAT
new file or change ===>INETSET2 INF
size variation =======>JSCRPT16 DLL
      194.736  =======>      399.168 bytes
new file or change ===>OE2 INF
new file or change ===> 493 file
end of report

This file shows that on 01.04.2000 a directory named REGDATA has beem added to your WINDOWS
directory, some files having been added, and another file named JSCRPT16.DLL has been modified.

THE PROGRAM WILL NOT DELETE ANY FILE; you will erase them if you want, using normal tools.
