0. Requirments
   -----------

This program requruirs Windows NT 4.0 - it will *not* run under Windows 95.

1. What it is?
   -----------

Watcher is a program which allows you to see the changes to your file
system in real-time. It's primary goal was to show immediately everything
that happens to your disk without taking too much system resources and
without working at system level (i.e. Watcher is not a device driver, and
so, at least in theory, it can't compromise the stability of your system).

2. Brief overview of Watcher features
   ----------------------------------

a) Watch any number of directories at the same time.
b) Watch only some files: you have the possibility to specify which files
must be included and which ones must be excluded.
c) Easy uninstallation.
d) Save the results to the file and/or analyze them.
e) Small memory footprint and CPU load.

3. Installation
   ------------

The installation procedure is trivial: just copy/unzip the files
watcher.exe - the main program file (108,544 bytes)
  watcher.hlp - help file (26,762 bytes)
watcher.cnt - help file table of contents (529 bytes)
to any directory of your choice.

Now you can run Watcher and read more about it in the supplied help
file - just press F1 or go to Help/Contents menu.
