Countdown v1.0 by Andreas Jonsson
=================================

My name is Andreas Jonsson and I come from Gothenburg, Sweden. I started
programming in Visual Basic 5.0 two months ago (but I've been using
computers a lot longer than that). I messed around and did a lot of small
programs that I didn't feel was worth publicizing on the internet. The
first programs I made were mainly a lot of "If" statements and no "real"
programs. This is the second program I've ever made that actually has
come to be somewhat useful :) Anyway, the program is freeware (I don't
think anyone would be interested in paying for it) and you are free to
use it any way you want, but if you feel like uploading it to your
website, please write an e-mail to me telling me where you put it (my
e-mail address can be found in the end of this file). It would be nice
if you could e-mail me if you like the program too.

How do I use it?
================
It's very simple actually. You choose a month, you type in a date,
then you choose another month and type in another date. Then you see how
many days and weeks there are between the two dates. It's as easy as
that.

Reporting bugs
==============
I made this program because I want to learn how to program (I think I'm
pretty good at it now, I've only been programming in Visual Basic for
two months) and if you would happen to find a bug, please send a
description of it to me.

How to contact me
=================
If you want to contact me, send an e-mail to de@goteborg.mail.telia.com
or add me to your ICQ list (my number is 19380387, say Countdown as
authorization reason and I'll add you right away). The official Countdown
site can be found at http://w1.315.telia.com/~u31504183.

Other stuff
===========
Hehe, this readme file turned out to be a lot longer than I planned :)
Anyway, I would like to thank my cousin Niklas for introducing me to
Visual Basic, my friend Bo for a couple of good suggestions, and of
course all the people on the internet who helped me while making this
program. If you have a great idea for a program, don't hesitate to e-mail
it to me. If it's good, I'll attempt to make a program out of your idea.

NOTES: The answers that Countdown gives aren't always 100 percent
       correct, it might vary by 1 day. This is something that I can't do
       anything about. That happens because of the fact that each month
       doesn't contain the same amount of days (January has 31 days,
       November has 30 and so on).

       You need to place a file called vbrun5.dll in your Windows
       directory. Check out Microsoft's website if you don't have it.
       www.microsoft.com.

       This program is also available in Swedish, check out download.com
       if you want to download it. It does exactly the same thing as the
       English version, but it's in Swedish :)

       Countdown is provided "as is" and I don't take responsibility for
       any damage that may occur by using this software. This includes
       the information contained in it.
