Usage Notes:

Use the "Select a key" combo box to select a key to investigate.

Type the subkey you want to look at in the "Enter a subkey" edit box, or just double-click on the subkey in the "Keys" list box. Use the "Back" button to move up one level at a time.

Select a value name in the "Value Names" list box to examine its value data (see the "Value Data" status area below the list boxes).

Select the "Refresh" button to refresh the list boxes. If the registry has changed while you've had the Registry Viewer running, this is a quick way to make sure you are looking at the current state of it.

Type a value (in seconds) into the "Seconds" edit box and then select "Timed" to make refreshing a timed event. When timed, refreshing will occur any time you double-click on a key in the "Keys" list box, select a value name in the "Value Names" list box, select a key from the "Select a key" combo box, select the "Refresh" button, or when the timer fires. Select "Timed" a second time to disable the timer and/or to free up the "Seconds" edit box in order to change the refresh rate. The refresh rate defaults to 5 seconds and the timer is off by default.

Select the "Close" button to close the Registry Viewer.
