Function Summary:

Program removes unwanted tasks from the task bar

Requirements:

Visual Basic 3.0 runtime DLL, available net-wide.

Description:

An oldie I recently found in the dust bin. Killicon removes an icon from either
the Win 3.1 desktop or Win95 taskbar. Well, really it just removes it from the
list of active tasks. To engineer your icons' defeat, you need to know the
window title text. IE., what it says in the application's title bar, as it says
it. Edit the killicon.ini file and fill this text in the space after the "=" mark -
leave no spaces inbetween the "=" and your window text. When the app is run, the
icons will disappear.

This app is designed to be tucked into your startup group AFTER the annoying apps.
It silently removes them and unloads itself. Neat as pie.

Note that in the sample INI file included that there are only 3 entries. You can extend
this as high as 50 by simply adding the number and an "=", for example:

4=
5=
6=

etc.
