Description:

This program does nothing more than the name implies: it prevents your screensaver from running by temporarily turning it off. Blocking can be toggled by (double) clicking the system tray icon or using a (reconfigurable) hotkey. The screensaver configuration tab can be started from the menu. Tiny program (40k), needs no additional dll's. Suitable for Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT.

Commandline:

/e start with blocking on
/d start with blocking off
/c use double click to toggle blocking
/h use hotkey (see below)
/o use screen corners to toggle blocking (see below)

Install/Uninstall:

Small download:

Unzip all files to a directory of choice (e.g. "C:\Temp"), right click on SSblock.inf (the "setup" file), and choose "Install". To uninstall, choose "Add/Remove Programs" in Control Panel.

Large download:

To install, simply run "sbsetup.exe". To uninstall, use the icon in the "Pete's Tools" group,
or choose "Add/Remove Programs" in Control Panel.

Additional info:

Use "/h:x" to redefine the default hotkey (Control+Alt+X), where "x" is any letter from a to z.

If "use screen corners" is on, blocking can be turned on by moving the mouse to the upper right corner, and it can be turned off by moving the mouse to the lower right corner.
