Description
-----------
This  program  is  designed  to  improve wokr with DOS text mode
applications. It  allows  to select a part of the screen text by
mouse and then paste it to this or another application.

Requirements
------------
It  requires  any DOS environment with mouse support. If you are
using  plain DOS  or  Windows 3.1X, you should have mouse driver
loaded. This  program  also  works fine in DOS sessions of OS/2,
Windows NT  or Windows 9X and Linux's DOSEMU with internal mouse
support.

Features
--------
- Works  under  DOS, Windows 3.1X, Windows 9X, Windows NT, OS/2,
  Linux's DOSEMU in windowed and full screen sessions.
- Allows to  disable cut and paste features in windowed sessions
  under OS/2  to  avoid  conflict  with  internal  cut and paste
  feature.
- Supports Windows clipboard.

Installation
------------
Just  run  GPM without arguments. You may also run it under OS/2
with switch  /O  to  avoid  conflict with internal cut and paste
feature.  You can run it form command line or from AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Run GPM /U to uninstall it from memory.

Usage
-----
Use the left button to select a part of the screen. Double click
left button to select a word. Triple click left button to select
whole  line.  Paste  the  selected  text  by  clicking the right
button. Hold down Shift to avoid conflicts with other programs.

Known problems
--------------
- Mouse cursor sometime jumps in the Norton Utilities.
- May not work in Win32 console applications.
