    6. AutoDesk ADI 4.2 Driver Issues
    7. Turbocharge utility

1. DOS games compatibility

If you have problems with some DOS games that use VESA modes, you
would need to run a utility before launching the DOS games. The
utility, Fix2Gran, can be found in the DOS directory of the CD. If
you still have problems, you may need the Univbe utility from Scitech
Display Doctor. You can download the latest Scitech Display Doctor
    from http://www.scitechsoft.com.

2. Windows 95 games compatibility

If you have problems with some Windows 95 games, you might like to
try to change the display mode during the game. You can refer to the
respective game manuals or readme text on how to change the display
mode of the various games. One possible method is to press the F5
    function key.

3. INSTALLATION/UNINSTALLATION

Before un-installing the software, ensure that all the programs are
closed. If the BlasterControl Hotkey is still running in the
background, BlasterControl will not be removed. To close it, right-
click on its icon in the taskbar, and select "Close" from the menu.
    Then run the setup.

4. BLASTERCONTROL LIMITATIONS

    a) BlasterControl only works in 256 colors and above.

    b) BlasterControl Hotkey is only able to switch resolution, but not
        color depth.

5. CREATIVE SOFTMPEG

   a) Creative SoftMPEG is using Compcore SoftPEG drivers for the MPEG
video playback. For enhanced performance with the Graphics
       Blaster:

      i) Run in 640x480, 800x600 or 1024x768 resolutions in 256 colors
or 16-bit color depth for best performance. If you want to
use 1280x1024 resolution, please switch to 256 colors mode.
These resolutions have full Direct Draw support.

ii) In the configure dialog, set the Video Display to Best Frame
           Rate or Best Picture.

iii) There are certain Windows 95 CD-ROM drivers that may
have problems reading MPEG files on CD or Video CDs. Please
check with your CD-ROM vendor for more information. On a
Pentium 133 you should be able to playback MPEG files on Full
Screen from Hard Disk or a Quad Speed CD-ROM drive.

6. AUTODESK ADI 4.2 DRIVER ISSUES

   a) Be sure to change your ACADDRV environment to the installed
      path of your ADI drivers.

                e.g. SET ACADDRV=<installed path>

   b) If you're using AutoCad Release 12 or Release 13, please
reconfigure AutoCad by using the following command:

                ACAD -r

If you're using AutoCad Release 11, you will have to select TurboDLD
ADI Ver 4.2 as the driver.

7. TURBOCHARGE UTILITY

If you encounter problems with your Windows 95 display driver, you
can try using the Turbocharge utility (turbo.exe), located in the CD-
ROM's WIN95 directory, to disable turbo-charge for your display driver.

8. SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY

If you have problems after putting the card into your system, please
try placing the card into another PCI slot.
