Server Administration

This page allows you to administer multiple server-wide settings.

The IP Aliasing button lets the administrator manage IP-addresses on the server.

The System Time button is designed for setting time or synchronization with a time server.

The Statistics button displays server statistics for the operating system such as system uptime and usage. This location also houses information on the software version and key number.

The Support button allows to refer to the technical support staff. You will be taken to the Online Server Support form at the Plesk product web-site.

The Key Info button displays the detailed information on the license key properties.

The Component Info button allows to view the information on the software components running under .

The Service Management button allows to stop, start, or restart some services directly from the interface.

The Mail button lets the administrator set up server-wide mail system parameters.

The DNS button lets the administrator create DNS zone templates.

The Databases button allows to set or change login and password for the database administrator.

The Crontab Manager button allows to view and manage crontab tasks.

The Certificates button allows to manage the Control Panel SSL certificates repository.

The Skeleton button allows to manage the system skeleton.

The Mailman Settings button is used for initial mailman component configuration (applicable only to mailman versions higher than 2.1.2).

The ColdFusion Settings button is used for accessing the ColdFusion configuration.

The Application Vault button is used for installing/removing web applications.

The SpamAssassin button allows for configuring server-wide mail filtering settings.

The Logo Setup button lets the administrator customize the logo displayed at the top of the pages.

The Session Settings button lets the administrator customize session security parameters.

The Preferences button lets the administrator set the default interface language, the number of lines (list items) displayed on the page, select a skin to be applied to the control panel, enable checking for the passwords uniqueness, and adjust server-wide statistics calculation.

The Add Services button allows to manage settings for additional services.

The Notifications button allows to manage subscription to notification on system events.

The Action Log button allows to access and configure the system user actions logging.

The Custom Buttons feature allows you to set up and manage multiple additional buttons that will be displayed on the Domain Administration pages of every client's domains.

The Edit button lets you edit administrator's information.

The Change Password button lets you modify the administrator's password.

The Access button allows the administrator to configure IP access restriction policies.

The Reboot button serves for rebooting the system.

The Shut Down button serves for shutting down the system.
Warning: If the server is shut down using this option, it cannot be restarted remotely.
