The Compaq Survey Utility output is stored in the survey-CCYY-MM-DD-HH-mm-ss.txt file (the double letters represent the date and time when the utility was run). This file is located in the /var/compaq/survey directory. Use any text editor to view or print the output file.
If the comparison options are used any change between data collections is marked with a '>' or '<' character and the naming of the resulting file follows the above convention.
By running the Survey Utility with different command line parameters, you can change the contents of the output file.
Without any command line parameters the Compaq Survey Utility will create its output in the /var/compaq/survey/ directory and run with verbosity level of 3.
