To uninstall the Survey Utility and remove all Survey files from a Linux server, RPM is used with the standard option as follows:
rpm -e survey-l.0.0-?
The Compaq Survey Utility will be removed from your system. Any previous output will not be removed.
IMPORTANT: To retrieve certain information the device drivers must be installed and loaded on the host system. For example: If there are Compaq IDA controllers installed in the system but the cpqarray.(Linux Driver) is not loaded, the controller information cannot be retrieved. Also for the Compaq Survey Utility to gather some information the Compaq ROM (crom.o) driver must be installed. This driver is part of the Compaq Health & Wellness Driver and is available from the Compaq web site http://www.compaq.com/support
