<p>When fine-tuning your controller settings for optimal performance, consider
  the applications that you intend to run on your server. Controller settings are
  usually sensitive to the <b>types</b> of applications running on the server,
  not the server workload or the number of users using the server. You must investigate
  your application's design, especially its input/output behavior, to make your
  decision. </p>
