<h1>HP Storage Manager and LED flash states</h1>
<p>The amber and blue LEDs are controlled by the backplane (for internal physical
  drives) or enclosure (for external physical drives). Controllers send
  commands to the backplane or enclosure processor to set a logical state for
  the LED, and the subsystem translates that LED state into the following flash
  states: <br>

<p> The green LED is an activity indicator for the physical drive and is controlled
  by the physical drive. </p>
