<P>You can use this action <B>only</B> on <A href="gddd.htm">failed</A>
physical drives that are <B>not</B> part of any pool. Although the HP Storage Manager
software implicitly removes failed drives from the configuration, this action
is useful if you want to remove a failed drive from the Physical devices view so you
can view an accurate configuration.</P>

  align=absBottom> (failed physical drive).<BR><BR>
  <LI>Right-click <B>Remove failed drive</B>. The HP Storage Manager removes the
  failed drive from the configuration. </LI></OL>
