      <![CDATA[ProLiant Support Packs represent operating system (OS) specific bundles of ProLiant optimized drivers, utilities, and management agents. These bundles of software are tested and released concurrently with HP's SmartStart CD to ensure proper installation and functionality. 

ProLiant Support Packs provide customers with a ProLiant system software baseline that has already been tested and verified by HP. Users can standardize upon a particular release of a ProLiant Support Pack as a base level for the servers throughout their environment. In addition to the baseline capabilities inherent with ProLiant Support Packs, HP provides tools that make deploying the software updates to ProLiant servers throughout the environment easy. For the Microsoft Windows 2000, Server 2003, and NT4 environment we provide the Remote Deployment Utility which allows customers to deploy software updates delivered within ProLiant Support Packs to remote servers on a one to one basis.  The Remote Deployment Utility is automatically downloaded as part of the ProLiant Support Pack.]]>
