Advanced Configuration Page

The Advanced Configuration page is your home for configuring your controller manually and its interface will vary depending on the current status or configuration of your controller. Choosing Advanced Configuration is the fastest way to configure your controller but requires an advanced level of knowledge concerning storage. The Advanced Configuration path offers the least amount of help or step-by-step guides and does not provide a FAQ panel. Rather it relies on the fact the user knows exactly what they would like to accomplish and are very familiar with the concepts required to complete the task.

Advanced Configuration Task Selection Page

After a selection has been made from the Configuration View, the right panel will display the various options that can be performed on that particular item. The options and dialogs that will be presented will vary depending on the item selected. For example, the choices may be different for a controller versus that of an array.

Advanced Configuration Dialogs

During the Advanced Configuration process, various dialog boxes will appear in the right panel that will allow the user to make the desired changes to the controller's configuration. The dialogs and prompts will vary depending on the task currently underway and the item on which the task is being performed.
