The following screens allow you to increase the capacity of an existing array by expanding it.

Your first option will be to select the array you want to expand from the available arrays listed.

The second option will be to select the physical drives that you want to use in the array from the unused drives listed.

Note: Only physical drives of the same size (within 10 percent) should be added to the same array because all the drives within an array are reduced to the size of the smallest physical drive. For example, an array with three 2.1-GB drives and a 4.3-GB drive would be viewed as being the same size as an array with four 2.1-GB drives since the 4.3-GB drive is seen as a 2.1-GB drive.
