Installing & Running the Array Configuration Utility
--------------------------------------------------------------

  Installation:
ACU is distributed using Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) packages.
If there is an older version of ACU (or ACU-XE) installed on the system,
please use "rpm -e cpqacuxe" to remove it first. Use "rpm -i <file name>"
	to install the service.
Note: for SuSE UnitedLinux on ia64 architectures, the "--nodeps" option
is required to install the RPM package.
Please type "man rpm" for other details regarding RPM.
The software resides in /opt/compaq/cpqacuxe and the executable
name is cpqacuxe which is located in /usr/sbin.
The password resetting utility is hphmmopasswd that is located in
    /opt/compaq/cpqacuxe/bld.

  Run ACU:

Only scripting functions are supported. Please use cpqacuxe --help for supported options.

Known Problems

----------------

   1. The PCI slot infomation is not accurate for controllers.
   2. For SuSE UnitedLinux 1.0 for ia64 architectures, the RPM dependencies are
incorrect, and so the rpm must be installed with the "--nodeps" option.
