Minimum Requirements for Windows

The Version Control Agent can be used in conjunction with Insight Manager 7, and the Version Control Repository Manager. The options must be configured for full functionality. The following diagram illustrates a logical order to the Version Control Agent installation process on a Windows operating system.

SNMP services installed and active with at least one community string defined to allow READ access.

Foundation Agent, version 5.40 or later, or HP Insight Management Agent 6.30 or later is required for software inventory and status features to be functional.
