These help files detail the HP Version Control Agent in a one-to-one update environment. In this mode, the user is browsing into the Version Control Agent on single systems and viewing the details displayed. If the Version Control Agent is configured to reference a Version Control Repository Manager, then the Version Control Agent will be reporting a status that indicates whether or not any applicable updates are available in the repository. The user can easily view details about available updates and actually perform the updates from within the Version Control Agent on any individual server.
In order to update multiple systems simultaneously, you will need to utilize HP Systems Insight Manager. Refer to the HP Systems Insight Manager User Guide for more information regarding software updates with HP Systems Insight Manager.
