This Softpaq contains the "Module Diskette" for Red Hat 6.1 and 6.2. 
These disks contain version 1.0.9 of the cpqarray driver.

For 6.1, this update of the cpqarray driver allows installation to the 
Smart Array 431 and RAID LC2 as well as the controllers it suppported
previously.

For 6.2, this update of the cpqarray driver allows installation to the 
RAID LC2 in addition to the previously supported controllers.

To use these disk images, use the Linux or Unix dd command to copy the
needed image to a floppy. For example:

   dd if=rh61_dd.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=1440k

Start the install process, specifying an expert install at the boot prompt
screen of Red Hat 6.1 or 6.2.
Put the "Modules Diskette" made with the command above in the floppy drive
when the installation prompts you for it. 
Select "Add SCSI".
Find "Updated Smart2 Array Driver" on the list, and select it.
Load any other drivers you might need during installation, such as the
network driver, then continue with the installation.
