This package provides a preboot execution environment (PXE) boot image with an updated LAN driver for the Broadcom 5752 LAN-on-Motherboard Chip in HP xw4300 Workstations running the listed operating systems.

The Red Hat Linux Enterprise 3 Update 5 does not properly recognize the network device provided by the Broadcom 5752 LAN-on-Motherboard chip in the HP xw4300 Workstation. Because the installation kernel and process does not include the correct version of the LAN drivers, network installations and PXE booting may not function correctly. The enclosed driver enables both network installations and PXE booting.
