subject : BUG Tool: BOOM BOOG generate invalid netlist
version : Alliance 4.5
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Problem description :
---------------------
BOOM BOOG generate invalid netlist
I try to make a vst file from a vbe one. I use BOOM to optimize the vbe. I use the -g option of BOOM. I get a functionnal vbe (I tested it with asimut) then I use BOOG to generate the netlist. I use -m 4 option, without lax file.
The result does not work, I mean it does not behave as the vbe file.
I try different options for BOOM (-o, -p, -n, -s) and for BOOG (-m4 , -m2) and some of the combinaisons work, but most of then don't.
The fact is that I was trying to get a functionnal circuit, rather than trying to find out bugs in these tools, so I did not really take care of the critical combinaisons of options.
How to reproduce the bug :
--------------------------
Linux pjiper.lip6.fr 2.4.3-12 #1 Wed Jul 4 13:53:49 CEST 2001 i686 unknown
I sourced the file /asim/alliance/etc/alc_env.sh
