Requirements

• Windows XP or higher is required to run Samsung Update Plus.

Samsung Update Plus Features

• Check for updates
  
  Click on [Check for updates] to see available updates or Check for updates screen.

   Cehck for updates

  • Clicking [Check for updates] button checks for updates and displays a list of of update items if there are any new updates.
    
    
  • If there are no available updates for your system, the following message will be displayed.
    
    Samsung Update Plus was not able to find any new updates for your system.
The currently installed drivers and software are the best versions for your system.



  
  

   Install updates

  • Select an update to install from the update list and click the [Install updates] button.
    
    
  • Any 'update that must be installed separately from other updates' must be installed individually.
    1. Selecting update when a update that must be installed separately from other udpates selected displays the following warning message:
       
       'An update that must be installed separately' has already been selected. Do you want to unselect other update and select this update instead?

Click on [OK] button to select this update.
       
       
    2. Selecting 'an update that must be installed separately from others' when an update is already selected displays the following warning message:
       
       This udpate must be installed separately from other updates. Do you want to unselect all other updates and select this update instead?

Click on [OK] button to select this update.
       
       

  • You can cancel update installation while the update files are being downloaded, cancel will not be enabled during the installation has begun.
    
    
  • When the installation of the updates are completed, you can view the list of installed updates by selecting [View update history] on the left menu.

  
  
  
• Change settings
  
  Click on [Change settings] to configure how Samsung Update Plus automatically checks for and installs updates.

   Install updates automatically

  • When this option is selected, Samsung Update Plus will automatically check for new updates whenever the computer is turned on, and will notify you of any available updates.

  • You can configure Samsung Update Plus to automatically check 'Daily', 'Every Sunday', 'Every Monday', 'Every Tuesday', 'Every Wednesday', 'Every Thursday', 'Every Friday' or 'Every Saturday'.
    
  • Samsung Update Plus will check for new updates on the selected schedule option.

   Download udpates but let me choose whether to install them

  • When this option is selected, Samsung Update Plus will automatically download updates. You, however, should decide whether or not to install them.

   Never check updates

How to run Samsung Update Plus

• Double-click Samsung Update Plus Icon on desktop or,
  click Start > All Programs > Samsung > Samsung Update Plus > Samsung Update Plus.
