This is a demo of DIGGER for the OS/2 presentation manager.

DISCLAIMER:

This package is supplied as it is. Although the software and the
associated documentation has been thoroughly tested under OS/2 2.1, OS/2
Warp 3, and OS/2 Warp 4, the authors do not provide any kind of guarantee.
The use of this software is at your own risk. The authors are not liable
for data loss, damages, loss of profit, or any other kind of loss while

DISTRIBUTION:

This demo version of Digger may be freely redistributed if no file is
omitted and all files remain unchanged. It is not allowed to sell this
demo version. If you want to publish this program on a CD-ROM, you are
welcomed, but you need the permission of the authors. Please direct your
request to Marco.

There are three files included in this distribution:

README - This file
ORDER.FRM - Digger Order Form and Questionnaire
DIGGER.EXE - The program executable

INSTALLATION:

There is no special installation procedure necessary. In order to use the
software, I suggest to copy all files into a separate directory on your
harddrive. Additionally, you might want to create a desktop icon for your
convenience. The program does not need any additional DLL files. Just
click on the icon and enjoy the game!

DEINSTALLATION:

Consequently, there is also no deinstallation procedure provided. If you
want to discontinue using the program Digger, you can simply delete all
files you previously copied on your harddrive during the installation
process of Digger. Digger stores its configuration parameters, such as:
Version number, highscore list, presentation parameters etc. in the OS/2
user INI file. If you feel it is necessary, you can delete the entire
application key "Digger" with a REXX script or PM tool.

HOW TO ORDER MORE LEVELS

Since we both put a lot of effort into the program, we would like to ask
you for a donation to our empty student pockets in order to get a version
with the complete level set. Currently, the complete set is comprised of
40 different levels. Remember that you do not pay for the program but for
the level set.

If you like the game and you think it is worth our continuous work on the
program, you can order the complete level set for US $10. In order to save
any currency transfer fees, please send Marco US cash only. You can use
the enclosed "Digger Order Form and Questionnaire".

HOW TO ORDER MORE LEVELS WITHIN EUROPE

If you find it easier to do so, you can also order the complete level set
by sending an amount of DM 15,- (German currency) to Marco. In case you do
not like sending cash, you may also send a Eurocheque. Please make it
payable to "Marco Schumann" and make sure you put down German Currency.

ADDITIONALLY,

if you like the levels, regardless whether or not you want to order the
complete set, send a nice post card from your home town to Georgs postal
address:

Georg Wille
Fr.- Henze- Strasse 32
06179 Teutschenthal

CREDITS

I wouldn't have been able to develop the program to the stage it is in
right now, had I not had help from my friends.

First of all, I would like to thank Georg. Without his creativity the
program would have been almost worthless.

Second, I want to thank Hendrik and Lars who always tested my new versions,
gave me constructive criticism, came up with good ideas for improvements, and
insisted on their implementation!

Last, but not least, I want to thank my girlfriend Jolene who proof read the
English texts and allowed me to spend time on the computer instead of
spending time with her!

Marco Schumann
