Place all files except PPP.CFG and resolv into your tcpip/bin directory.
Edit PPP.CFG using the following info for a guide:

com2
Self explanatory

230400
Port Speed

168.121.31.0:168.121.1.1
Your IP:Destination IP Remove if you do dynamic.

rtscts
Set RTS CTS

modem
Resets the modem

notify
"Connection has dropped" enable

defaultroute
Create default route

idle 31
Hang up after 31 minutes

netmask 255.255.0.0

mru 1500

priority 16
Can be 1 (low) to 31 (high) Makes little difference as it only takes effect
while PPP is actively working

connect "slattach ATZ1 OK ATDT6541350 ogin USERNAME assword PASSWORD"
My login looks like:

Login: USERNAME
Password: PASSWORD

Ok, now your set, make sure you move PPP.CFG into your tcpip\etc directory.

A few more steps and your ready.

Edit your CONFIG.SYS and make sure the following lines are in there:
SET TZ=EST5EDT
SET HOSTNAME=mindspring.com
SET USER=YOUR USER NAME

Place resolv into your tcpip\etc directory and copy into tcpip\dos\etc

Ok, now reboot.
From an OS/2 commandline, change to tcpip\bin
Run Dialup.cmd

This will dial into Mindspring, set the time, start a POP mailbox watcher,
and check the connection every 60 seconds. If the connect drops, it will
kill everything and redial, then restart the POP mailbox watcher.

Any problems with the setup or use of PPP from the commandline, E-Mail me
and I'll be glad to help.
