FIXES TO NOVELL NETWARE REQUESTER V2.01 AND SYMPTOMS

SYMPTOMS:

    1.  General Protection (GP) Fault in NETWARE.DRV

    2.  System errors: SYS3171, SYS3175 and SYS3176 in Windows
        applications.

    3.  Ignore/Retry errors when doing a FILE-RUN, then choosing
        Browse in Program Manager.

    4.  GP Fault in NWIPXSPX.DLL


SUMMARY OF RESOLUTION:

    The fix, R201FX.EXE, contains the following files:

    R201FX.TXT

    VIPX.SYS            dated 4-16-93

    VSHELL.SYS          dated 9-8-93

    NWIPXSPX.DLL        dated 5-18-93

    NWNETAPI.DLL        dated 1-23-92


PROCEDURES:

    1.  The fixes are available on CompuServe under GO NOVFILES,
        then Client Kits (OS/2 Client Kit), under Netware Client OS/2
        Fixes.

    2.  Also available on IBM BBS in Raleigh at (919) 517-0001.
        Look for R201FX, mark it and download.

    3.  Install after reading instructions in R201FX.TXT
